Project Overview
ASI supported Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and Greek shipowner OCEANGOLD in securing Lloyd’s Register cybersecurity certification for the 114,000 DWT oil tanker KEDROS. Working to IEC 62443, IMO MSC-FAL.1/Circ.3, IACS UR E26/E27 and LR requirements, the team delivered design documentation, onboard IT and OT security testing, risk optimization recommendations and certification audit support.

Comprehensive testing covered the vessel’s IT environment and critical operational technology systems.
Identity and perimeter security
The scope validated authentication, access control, perimeter defense, communication security and secure remote access.
Vulnerability and response testing
The team performed vulnerability scanning, malware protection checks and incident-response procedure testing.
End-to-end certification support
ASI prepared asset inventories, network topology and risk reports, compiled onboard test evidence and supported the LR audit.
