At the China International Maritime Exhibition on December 5, 2023, ASI was awarded China’s first type approval certificate for an integrated ship measurement, monitoring, alarm, and control system that meets the stringent requirements of IACS UR E27 and the China Classification Society’s (CCS) Guidelines on Cyber Security Onboard Ships, achieving Security Level SL2. This significant milestone underscores ASI’s technological leadership and continuous innovation in maritime cybersecurity.

In addition to this achievement, ASI officially launched the first domestically developed shipboard cybersecurity firewall to receive type approval from CCS. The firewall fully complies with the CCS Inspection Guidelines for Shipboard Cybersecurity Firewalls (2023) and IACS UR E27, delivering enhanced protection for shipboard networks and critical control systems.

These recognitions mark a major step forward in China’s capability to develop and certify high-standard maritime cybersecurity solutions, positioning ASI at the forefront of the global smart shipping and cybersecurity landscape.
